I have now been charged with building and now maintaining a website for the club. This is it. You might notice that some of the pages have no information. That is because it is not really stuff that I know about. If you are in charge of these areas help me get the word out.
If you think we should be doing a better job of communicating with the public and with our own members, send me material. If you think there should be something in the club bulletin... send it to David Nelson. If you are waiting for someone else to communicate it to us then, expect to keep waiting.
There may at times be opinions (mine) expressed. If you don't agree, please let me know. If you want your opinions (regarding EBr or Rotary in general) communicated to the club ...send them to me. I'm happy to put them up on the website
The (home) main page faces the internet (and everyone) and contains stories about what we are doing and a calendar. On other public pages there is information about becoming a member, our scholarships, what we do and what we fund and an on-line membership application.
Additionally there are private (for club members only) pages that will have pages about Members, Events, Club Leadership, the EBR Foundation, the process for bringing in new members, the Rotary Foundation, and a repository for forms, governance documents, photos and meeting minutes. There will be no PII (Personal Identifiable Information) about club members visible on any public facing pages.
